I really and truly do not have one favorite, yet, I am partial to the Longest Day. This is the movie that depicts what happened in the 24 hours from start to finish on D-Day. There is a list of super actors who really portrayed the officers and men who served on that climactic day. This was the battle that had everyone guessing from the Americans, British, French and Canadians who planned the battle to those who had to defend the beaches, the Germans. This battle had me admiring the history of the Second World War and what man would do at any cost to bring freedom to the world.
The movie is long. It is worth it. I downloaded it from Amazon.com and it is cool to have it on the computer so I can watch it and listen to it whenever I have my laptop on or when I am sitting at the desk at home.
Other great war movies are : A Bridge Too Far, Midway, Tora Tora Tora, The Bridge Over The River Kwai, the Devil's Brigade.
